What is the Spring Break Madness Tournament Format?
Round Robin:
Age divisions will be
combined (unless there is 12 or more in a single age division).
13/14, 15/16, 17/18
Prior to the start of each match
the two team captains will meet with the Head Official to decide on the first
serve. Tie breaker protocol – USA
Volleyball guidelines.
Warm up’s will be 2/4/4 –
Serving team will have the first four minutes
Matches will be 2 out of 3 to
25 with a cap of 27 (first two sets).
The third set will be played to 15 pts no cap, no switching sides. Each set will have two (30 second) timeouts.
Playoff / Bracket Play:
Single age divisions 12 –
18’s. Same warm-up protocol and meeting
with the team captains.
Matches will be 2 out of 3
with NO cap on all sets. Two
timeouts. No switching in the third set.
Are There Team & Individual Awards?
The top three teams in each
age division (minimum 3 teams), will receive team trophies and individual
medals.
Coaches (from their respective
age divisions) will have the opportunity to vote for an “All Tournament” team
as well as the “Most Valuable Player” and the Player with the Most “Aloha
Spirit” award.
The awards will be handed
out at the end of the Championship match for that particular age division.
Note: (All Star Ballots will be due prior to the end of the Championship match so the winner of these awards may not come from the Top three finishers.)

$25.00 – (Expires - March 13, 2020)
2 Day Pass - Starting March 14, 2020 – (Effective - March 14 - 21, 2020 -
$27.00)
$15.00 - Single Day Admission

Saturday March 21st: Format for Saturday- Drake Games only play Two sets to 25 (3 matches in one day for Drake)
1:30pm CUH vs Drake - 2 sets
2:30pm Drake vs CSI - 2 sets
4:00pm CUH vs HPU - 3 out of 5 Match
6:30pm HPU vs Drake - 2 sets
Sunday March 22nd:
10am: HPU vs CSI- 3 out of 5 Match
1pm: CUH vs CSI- 3 out of 5 Match
